INTERNSHIP:

The land Court of the Massachusetts Trial Court will be accepting resumes for interns for the Winter/Spring Semester. The Land Court is located at 226 Causeway Street, Boston. The Land Court, a trial court of special jurisdiction, provides an unparalled opportunity for significant research and writing experience, observation of courtroom practice and working closely with one or two Justices for the duration of the internship. Land Court internships are particlualry rewardng to those whose with interests in land use and real property law, and applicants who demostrate such interests are strongly encouraged to apply. Land use cases invovling zoning and subdivsion law comprise a substantial portion of the Land Court's docket. The remainder of the Court's docket includes cases involving title or boundary disputes and other aspects of real property law. The Land Court's jurisdiction extends to the entire Commonwelath. While the Justices of the Land COurt sit primarliy in Boston, they also sit elsewhere in Massachusetts to conduct trials and motion sessions. Trails in the Land Court are without juries.

SPECIAL AGENTS/CRIMINAL INVESTIGATORS

This is a federal law enforcement position requiring the completion of a several week-long criminal investigator basic training class, and the ability to qualify and carry a firearm.

To protect the mail and to maintain the integrity of postal processes and personnel, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) relies on the investigative efforts of the Special Agents/Criminal Investigators of the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
