The Long Term View is a public policy journal that devotes each issue to an in-depth discussion of a single topic. The broad base of researchers, scholars, industry professionals and authors that collaborate on each issue of The Long Term View make it a bellwether of important public policy issues.

The Long Term View encourages the submission of unsolicited manuscripts on future topics (see most recent issue for list of potential topics). Published articles generally range from 2,500 to 7,000 words, although some articles of greater or shorter length are published. Manuscripts must be typed; all citations must be listed as endnotes. Authors must provide an electronic copy, by disk or e-mail. Accepted submissions will be edited for clarity and brevity. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their data and citations.
