General Practitioner in North Andover seeking law intern(s) working part time on a flexible weekly schedule for a minimum of two days a week. Duties will include assisting attorney with review of law and related research, preparation of cases for litigation and trial, preparation of documents needed for residential and/or commercial closings, communicating with clients on an ongoing basis, filing and numerous other tasks as they may arise. The Department is seeking to fill an Assistant General Counsel exempt (non-classified) position to primarily support the Health Care Administration Division, as well as for the Department’s other regulatory programs. You will be primarily responsible for analysis and recommendations for approval of health insurance rates and forms. Rate analysis also includes monitoring the condition of Vermont health insurance markets, and ensuring that carriers abide by market standards established by our health insurance laws and regulations. Candidate must be admitted to the Vermont Bar or eligible for admission without examination.

Starting salary range: Staff Attorney II $45,074-$56,326 (2-5 yrs relevant legal experience) Staff Attorney III $53,747-$65,998 (5-8 yrs relevant legal experience)Staff Attorney IV $63,066-$70,616 (8 or more yrs relevant legal experience)
