Introduction to the Internet is a course which helps those with little or no knowledge of the ‘Net to find their way to what they need. Our goal in this course is to focus on ways to make students more savvy both in terms of how to find material for free on the ‘Net and in terms of their understanding of the legal implications of privacy, e-commerce, software piracy, encryption of e-mails, jurisdictional issues with lawyer web sites and many others.
