2014 MSLAW Run for the Troops

Run for the Troops

The MSLAW Student Veteran’s Association is putting together TEAM MSLAW to run/walk for our troops on Sunday, April 6th, 2014. The road race starts and ends in downtown Andover. We would love for this to be our biggest team ever.

Please save the date and register now to walk/run for our troops!

In past years, we have been able assist in donating funds to help veterans build homes.MSLAW is a founding sponsor of the Andover road race which is in its 4th year. Funds from this race go directly to building a home for an injured veteran. This year, funds from the race will be used to build a home for Army Staff Sergeant, Matthew DeWitt in Concord, NH.

In the spring of 2012, MSLAW students had an opportunity to raise money and awareness for the US troops stationed overseas and had the privilege of spending a bit of time with then-Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown. On April 1, 2012 Massachusetts School of Law participated in the  Run for the Troops 5k in Andover, Massachusetts. This  event was held to honor our military service members and help build homes designed for service members who have endured unique injuries during their deployment overseas. Some members of the Massachusetts School of Law Veterans Association volunteered their time at this event by running and distributing fruits and water to the runners at the run’s completion.
